Below are some policies and guidelines regarding shopping on our site. The most critical piece of information we can convey to you, however, is that we're a real store staffed by real people, and we tend to be pretty affable (after a cup of coffee). We're grateful for your business, and we want you to love the product you purchase from us as much as we love finding, showcasing, and selling it. Shipping Costs

Purchases over $150 - Free

Purchases under $150 w/in Iowa - $5

Purchases under $150 out of Iowa - $10



Returns are happily accepted for a full monetary refund up to 14 days after purchase. After 14 days, returns are eligible for credit, either in-store or online. If your return is received after 14 days, we will send you an email asking your credit preference. If we don't hear back, we'll automatically apply the credit online.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and have all of its original hang tags. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Sale items are returnable for credit only. No monetary refunds on sale items. 

Gift Certificates are not returnable. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.



Once your return is received, we will send you an email notification. Your refund will then be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at



We are more than happy to accommodate exchanges of purchased items for other sizes and styles as inventory allows. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please understand that in the case of a damaged or defective item, it may take additional time to procure a replacement from the manufacturer. If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full monetary refund.



If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to the recipient, the recipient will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to the recipient.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to the recipient later, we will notify the gift giver of the return and issue him or her a refund.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.



In the course of transacting business online, we collect some of your personal information (note: not your credit card information, which is stored by our host behind a secure firewall). On occasion, we might use this information to send you a holiday card or let you know about an event we're having in-store. We will never give or sell your information to a third party; we're much more likely to use it to invite you to a party.
